Termite and Vine Has a 5 house rule constitution that is immutable and unchangeable. no additional rules will be added. all rules not covered by the 5 rules are not real rules. termite and vine is not a consensus organization. we do not have an organization structure besides might is right and nepotism and passive aggression. there will be no bylaws made or systems of process and discourse imposed on this house. The board of directors and long term housemates have seniority based on the promise of extreme violence. Termite is administered and decisions are made in an ANARCHO FACIST ANTISTRUCTURE. all disputes and ideas will be resolved though naked aggression.
1. Love and Respect the Vine
our lady cats claw loves us and embraces our house and gives us her supernatural protection. protect her at all times and befriend her and enjoy her as she plays on our roof and up our walls. in the event where its is inevitable that a tendril of vine is severed, or when there is occasion to clear away dried out dead tendrils, all expired vine is never to be disposed of, but should return to the earth in our yard, to nourish her new growth and spread and cover the entire world.
2. Honor the neighborhood.
Our neighbors are mostly older working class, families, and have lived in the neighborhood for decades. go out of your way to be friendly and courteous to neighbors. be mind full of language and behavior and noise as we live next to little old ladies, young children, and people who work full time. contemplate that our neighborhood is a nice community of families but also includes thugs shooting guns out the windows of their cars, crack heads, white trash and us.
3. Don't Bring Heat Home
We are making termite to be a long term home for over a dozen kids and space for workshops and projects and crash space for our traveling friends. no one who stays here may bring illegal drugs here, engage willfully in criminal activity, or instigate a conflict that will hang over our home. understand that the city and the law are watching us.
4. Demonstrate Respectability
keeping the front of our house neat and clean looking, free of trash and garbage, and having the outside of the house look nice are more important than having sound floors or non leaky roofs. We are an artists and musicians collective and we are a tight non profit organization. Being part of the termite family means that you are a part of a legitimate respected artists homesteader group. wear that honor with pride and remind every buddy we interact with that we are an impressive institution.
5. Honor the Family
Termite is a family Home. Our members are our loved and respected friends we trust to respect each others person and possessions and space. We aspire to have as few rules and organizational structure as possible because we intend termite to be a family group and that all negotiations will be resolved through love and respect. if you're here you are family, and if your not family you are bruised and bloody and duct taped to a grainer to Houston on the public belt 2 blocks north of here.

a large plywood Bulletin board to be constructed and installed near the bathroom hallway
2. Plumbing stuff
a.-replace leaky faucet on bathtub
b.-turn on sink in toilet room
c.-replace drain pipe under bathtub room
d.-acquire and install miniature electric hot water heater
e.-replace or reseat leaky hose faucet on kitchen sink
f.-install urinal
3. homestead sign

a.-construct raized bed planters for composting bio mass
b.-creat a small enclosed fireplace thing from a metal oil drum and cement
c.-a composting system that makes sense

RIGHT NOW WE ARE PAINTING THE WEST WALL AND THEN THE FRONT
AFTRE THIS WE WILL TAKE A BREAK BEFORE PAINTING THE EAST AND BACK WALL SO OUR VINE CAN RECOVER FROM THE DAMAGE SHE'S TAKEN TO ALLOW US TO PAINT THE HOUSE.

c.-termites are encouraged to paint interior spaces for mold control and beautification

9. rat abatement
a.-mix up a bucket of cement and trowel it in to rat holes around the sill of the house
10. tERMITE control
a.-we need someone to go beg auto garages for about 5 gallons of used motor oil
