neighbourhood letter.
DEAR GOVERNMENT AND/OR NEIGHBOURS
Dear Neighbor,
My name is Lillian Bloodghet, and I am in the process of buying the big old house at 1825 Duels st. I've been living here since i came to New Orleans in 2005 to volunteer with various organizations to do hurricanes Katrina clean up. Since then I've working mostly construction and demolition and occasionally working in the arts or building parade floats. I've been working on the house for almost 2 years now and as of May 2007 I've been working through my lawyer and the city attorneys office to own my house clean it up and settle unpaid taxes. Its a long term commitment but I have help from my friends, who work construction or volunteer for common ground, who i house in exchange for labor.
This letter is Intended to let my neighbors know whats going on on your block. Shout at me if you see me working on my house or you can get a hold of me at 504-621-1503.
regards, -Lily Bloodghet
