TERMITE AND VINE IN LIMBO UNTIL MAY 5TH
UNTIL THEN I HAVE TO LIVE IN MY FRIENDS TOOL SHED
I CANT RETURN TO MY HOUSE UNTILL MAY 5TH. ON THAT DAY MY APPLICATION TO TAKE POSSESSION OF THE PROPERTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF RENOVATING IT WITH THE INTENT TO OWN IT GETS OUT OF THE APPEALS STAGE AND I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO SECURE AND WORK ON THE HOUSE.
UNTILL THAT DATE, FOR THE NEXT 49 DAYS, ALL I HAVE THE vaugue LEGAL ABILITY TO DO IS ASSERT MY RIGHT TO THE PROPERTY (BASED ON MY CORPOREAL POSSESSION ON THE LAST 16 MONTH) TO PROTECT MY RIGHT TO SECURE THE PLACE AND PROTECT MY FORMER AND FUTURE HOME AND ALL MY POSSESSIONS. IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO CHARGE US WITH TRESSPASSING BUT THE POLICE HAVE TOLD ME THAT THEY ARE BOUND TO ACT ON ANY COMPLAINT UNTILL THAT TIME AND EVEN THEN I MAY HAVE TO FILE INJUNCTION TO PROTECT MYSELF FROM TRESSPASSING CHARGES.
We have one "neighbour" (who doesn't evn live near us, but his mother live 3 blocks away and his family owns alot of property in our area) who thinks we are a unwanted pressence in the neighbourhood. our other neighbours like us allright but the complaint of this individual is sufficent to keep us homeless untill may 5th. the complaining party is active in the mid town neighbourhood organisation and his brother is a seargent with the NOPD. he is also a very hostile and unreasonable antagonist. attempts to negotiate with him arent going anywere fast and he continues to harass us in a threatening manner and may continue to be a thorn in our side even after we gain our right to work on the house.
Our legal team continues to try to find more ways to protect us but we may be stuck as we are now untill may 5th. and after may 5th we may be forced to go to court anyways to ask for our rights to be observed.

-GET COPY OF MORTGAGE CERT JUST FOR FUN.
-RESEARCH THE TAX AMNESTY PROGRAM AND MAYBE PAY OFF A TOKEN PART OF TERMITES BACK TAX
-FIX THE ROOF OF HARRISON HOUSE'S TOOL SHED SO IT STOPS RAINING ON ALL MY STUFF
-KISS AUTHORITY FIGURE ASS

alot of people have been asking how they can support us. really, I'm probaly stuck sitting on my hands until may 5th. I have legal support from my friends at CGlegal clinic and loyola legal aid and also squatter's rights activists from the bay area. BUT ANY EXTRA LEGAL ADVICE HELPS. what i need most is good legal advisors, squatter activist support and especially LOCAL NEW ORELANS SUPPORT/ CONNECTIONS WITH THE CRIMINAL LAW SYSTEM / CIVIL LAW SYSTEM / AND NEIGHBOURHOOD ORGANISATIONS.
I WILL GLADDLY ACCEPT DONATIONS TO KEEP MY PHONE TURNED ON. after may 5th we can begin renovating the property and should be able to escape any problems tho we probably will have to still go to court. when we start renovating we'll need to buy a bunch of bits and peices over the rest of the year. If anyone wants to come help work on termite at that time or donate materials or funds for materials that would be bitchin. HOWEVER I CANT ASK FOR SUPPORT ON THAT FRONT UNTILL AFTER WE FEEL SECURE IN OUR RIGHT TO POSSESS THE PROPERTY. I intend to be in and out of nawlins all summer as i've been accepted as crew on the touring circus boat miss rockaway Termite is my number one priority and obligation but i have to work on my other projects also. i hope to be in a secure possission after may that i can authorise my friends to guard termite for me and do work on the house during my absences. while away my support for termite will be in the role of having my name on all the court papers, my pathetic life savings available for what needs to be obtained,NETWORKING AND organising by net and cell phone, and i'll be ready to come greyhounding the hell home if the poop goes through the air conditioner. SO IF ANYBUDDY WANTS TO BE A PARTNER IN t&v PROPERTY mgt, I'LL BE YOUR FRIEND. my obligations to termite and rockaway and other progects is gonna be a horrible balancing act but i have ADD on my side.
ASKING FOR STUFF IS WEIRD.especially cuz the future of termite is still very unknown.
my goal with termite is to eventually have a space i can control to be my own home base, and also refuge for a few long term friends, and shelter for the wandering lollyfucks. i also want to creat tool workshop/art space for myself and my longterm housmates. I am planning to assume full responsibility for ownership of termite, but i'd also be very willing to take on a partner or 3 who'd share the burden of paying for stuff in return for their share of owner ship. details of that can be discussed with me over email or in person.
