T&V eviction update
hi !!!
its 6 am saturday morning. earlier, at 3am, 4 national guard entered T&V and walked through with flashlights. then left a minute later with no incident. they were there for 10 minutes total. no one was home but i was hiding near by keeping an eye on shit. i am ninja.
what totally weirds me out is that they DID NOT BREAK DOWN THE FRONT DOOR BUT UNLOCKED IT. they left it unlocked when they departed.
i was asleep when they first showed up, so i'm worried that maybe one of the kids came home to grab their possessions and got busted in front of the house. either that or the gurad picked my fucking front door lock and did a totally sketchy weird fucking super not legal search. but just a one minute one.
things to do this weekend :):):)
-meet my lawyer in 4 hours
-go to 5th district precinct and hang with police captain b. kelly.
-meet the elite squatocracry society (and their cast of college cop watch kids) for drinks at 6;30. this one squatty kid is the adopted cutie crust daughter of the head narcotics detective.
me and at least one other kid plan to move back in this week once we've made ourselves leases and notes from our lawyer explaining the two different laws that make us the legal occupants.
ie:
1. they cant evict us without a warrant. a warrant ordered by the dead former owner.
2. we have allready occupied the place for 16 months and can prove it. we have actual possession.
so by next weekend we should be able to appease any nice camo wearing 18 year old who wants to roll us out of bed at 3am.
maybe we could bribe the guard with drinks. but then theyd prolly be over all time and then i'd just be trading a house full of lollyfucks for a house full of army dude bros.
postscript: ~ We later discovered that the Guard had dropped a tension bar through the hole in the floor right at the front door. it was definatly a guard lock pick as all the Locksmiths living at termite used home made tension bars. i still have the bar and as of 07-06-07 i havent yet sued the guard but i'm strongly thinking about it.
