TODAY, MARCH 6TH, THE TERMITE KIDS HAD A bbq TO
CELLEBRATE OFFICIALLY FILING WITH CITY HALL OUR
AFFADAVIT OF INTENT TO POSSESS OUR HOUSE.
termite currently houses me, 5 long term housmates,
and about 8 traveller kids. the site of 15 termite
punks and a half dozen of ourr freinds havbing a BBq
anger some neighbour guy (who lives a few blocks away)
and he rolled up and started a shouting match with the
punks.
the police rolled up and freakked out at the site of
20 dirty kids eating bacon wrapped asparagus and
brought in a total of 8 national guards in 4 hummers
and 4 cops in 2 squad cars.
LEGAL STATUS
i have occupied termite and vine since nov 5th 2005.
the property is blighted (condemned in 2002) and
adjudicated for 28 years of non payment of taxes. the
owner,CV, ditched the property in 1992, transfering
his deed in to a fake name along with 3 other of his
properties. he also died 2 years ago tho his family
hold 20 other properties under 3 different variations
of his name. all properties he owns under the name he
owns my houuse under are blighted and adjudicated.
this very week, march 5th, i filled a bunch of
prepared legal documents with city hall. under the
louisianna 3 year aquisition program, i have the right
to aquire blighted adudicated property in a 3 year
process were i file affidavits, repair and renovate,
and pay off or appeal liens and back taxes.

THE COPS, in order to apeas the angry guy (they seemed
to think he was freaking out for nothing over and
innocent, if somewhat ugly and smelly BBQ) said that
tho i have my paperwork in order, affadavit to possess
is just the first step of the process to aquire the
property, and we can not legally live there untill we
move up to actual possession. which will take at least
58 more days as the 3 year adverse possession program
requires us to wait that time to allow for immediate
ajoining property or the family of the owner to appeal
our possession. we were made to give our
identification and leave the peoperty with whatever
possessions we could round up in 30 minutes, or face
tresspassing charges.
so i'm locked out of my house for 58 days and my
housemates are all fucking homeless.
LEGAL APPEALS AGAINST THIS BULLSHIT.
-I GET THE HOUSE BACK IN 58 DAYS IF NO ONE APPEALS MY
POSSESSION, no one is going to appeal my possession,
angry man isn't eligible and any one who appealed
would have to take responsibility of the house upon
themselves. at the very least, it would be a legthy
process of filing papers and the bare minimum work
would be ordering a demolition which would cost a few
grand.
-technically the police cant charge us with
tresspassing. only CV could charge us with
tresspassing, and he is the alter ego of a dead guy.
also technically the police cant come in our house or
charge us with tresspassing without a warrant or court
order. both of theese would be difficult to generate
without the help of CV, who is a dead and imaginary
person.
-however, the cops could choose to ignore the law and
round us up anyways. i have legal support to help us
appeal any charges laid against me or others, but it
would mean us entering the courts and being subject to
a bunch of endless crappy court shit.
-we may pursue a complaint to the district superviser
of police about the incident. but i'm not entirallyt
sure how to do this.
-we may get a restraining order against the neighbour.
he refused to identify himself but we have his licence
plate number.
-we have some nice squatter lawyers working on ideas
for us but thats all we really got so far. also,
moving to the declaration AFFADAVIT OF TAKING
CORPOREAL POSSESSION does not protect us completely.
currently our best hope is to assert our right to have
actual possession of the property unless we see a
warrant contesting that. also if i do wind up getting
arrested or charged with tresspassing once we appeal
the charge and get it dropped, it might set some kind
of precedent by which i could argue my right to the
property. i'd rather not be locked in to an endless
string of court dates tho. and jail sucks.

I'M fucking pissed. i can hide out and lay low and
file papers for 58 days if i have to, but i had a
bunch of nice kids staying with me and we were getting
to be a happy family. i had just gotten 3 people to
commit to becoming long term resident which has been
my dream since i opend the place. to have a house full
of freinds i can always come back to and have a bunch
of clever creative kids to do projects with.
i meet with my lawyer tommorrow morning. if any one
has any clever advice i'd love to hear it.
ps: ANYBUDDY KNOW HOW TO SERCH INFO ON A GUY OFF HIS LICENCE PLATE ??
